Samuel E. Hunt received the master’s degree in physics from the University of Durham, Durham, U.K., in 2014. He was a Trainee with European Space Agency, European Space Research and Technology Centre, Noordwijk, The Netherlands. He was a part of the Sentinel-3/OLCI Performance Team. In 2016, he joined the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, U.K., where he is currently a Senior Research Scientist focusing on the satellite Earth Observation metrology. His work aims to improve the quality of and confidence in satellite Earth observations, using insights from metrology.
